We recently submitted our latest long-term energy plan, which details how we will serve our customers over the next 20 years. The plan accelerates our move away from coal-fired energy while looking to transmission, renewable energy, battery storage and energy efficiency to continue providing you with reliable, affordable, clean electricity. Under the plan, the company will phase out our remaining interest in coal-fired power plants by the end of 2028, two years earlier than previously projected. The plan is being reviewed by state public utility commissions.
We are excited to be making progress toward our goal of providing 100% clean energy by 2045!
