Letter Art: An Ideal Way To Bring Delight And Wonder To Your Baby's Room

By Jan Brightley

Health, happiness and success - these are just some of the things every parent wants for his/her child. This is why many parents want to create the very best environment for their babies, starting with the nursery. A great way to help build a wonderful, learning environment for your baby is with the use of Alphabet Pictures.

KEEPING THINGS CREATIVE IN BABY'S ROOM

Use numbers, letters and shapes in decorating your baby's room. Use your imagination and creativity in using learning materials to decorate the nursery. The constant presence of things which are good to learn are good for your child's brain development.

Placing pictures of loved ones on the walls in a baby's room is also a great way for a baby to become close to this person. It is a familiar face, someone for them to wake up to. So when they haven't seen grandma in several weeks and she comes to pick them up they will still know that face.

As much as possible, refrain from using wild or overly bright colors when painting the nursery. Warm or neutral colors work best as these do not distract your baby's attention from learning. Aside from this, neutral colors exude a relaxed, peaceful environment, even for parents.

The time from your child's birth up to the age of three is considered a crucial time for learning. Your baby learns at a very rapid pace at this stage in his growth. Hence, if letters and numbers are constantly present in his environment, you'd be surprised how soon he can identify his first letters and numbers. Also, being constantly reminded of something positive like "We love you baby!" posted as an alphabet picture over his bed is a great way to show him your constant love and care.

Probably the best way to capture your baby's attention and interest is through Letter Photography. It's certain that your little one will be more interested in real baby pictures than of baby drawings.

With photography letters you can create a truly unique version of your child's name to hang in their nursery. Having a letter name in their room helps them recognize it in other places. Other important unique wall art words you want your children to wrap around themselves such as love, dream, and believe are wonderful additions to the room.

It's never too early to start teaching and training your child the right way. In many homes, learning starts in the nursery.

Make sure the room is filled with laughter!

Additional information you might find useful:

* The dark helps babies sleep longer. Use dark window shades and/or curtains.

* The dresser can double as a changing station for baby.

* Ditch the Mobile, newborns can't see it, and the spinning distracts older babies from sleeping.

* Parents need their rest as well as babies do. A guest bed may prove useful in the nursery.

* A reading area is always good to have to introduce the little one to the excitement of books.

* Night lights are not necessary and may work more for the benefit of the parents. Babies do not fear the dark.
